CEO, Founder & Wealth Management Advisor

With nearly three decades experience working in the financial services industry, Eric White launched his own firm, Crosswaters Wealth Management, as an independent private wealth advisory firm to better serve his clients.

He began his career at Merrill Lynch in Lakewood, Colorado, in 1993, working his way through a continually increasing level of accomplishments, eventually rising to the position of Senior Vice President and Resident Director of the Bend, Oregon office. Under his leadership, the Bend office more than doubled in size during his tenure. Prior to moving to Bend in 2009, Eric led his wealth management practice for Merrill in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Eric has received the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation as well as the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CFPA) designation. He is licensed in Life and Health Insurance in Oregon and holds Series 7, 65, 9, 10 and FINRA registrations.

Eric has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He is a rabid Nebraska Cornhusker fan.

Eric and his wife, Malissa, have been married for over 20 years and have four children (Mike, Megan, Carson, and Christopher) and one grandchild. Eric has cherished raising his kids, being involved in all their activities, and coaching youth sports. In his free time he enjoys hitting the mountain biking trails of Central Oregon, hunting and fly fishing, playing golf and generally doing anything that does not involve a computer screen.

After spending nearly 29 years at one company, I am proud to announce the launch of my own independent wealth management firm, Crosswaters Wealth Management. Our entire team is extremely excited to be joining me as we take this step together. It has long been my dream to create a firm that is guided by the core foundation of always putting our clients’ interests first. This would be an opportunity to develop a company that aligns with my values – one that focuses solely on delivering advice and solutions that are not conditioned to corporate interests or quarterly results. The sole mission of Crosswaters is to prepare and position you and your family for the financial freedom you desire.

I spent countless hours reviewing and analyzing potential partners who could deliver a world-class planning and investment platform —and had a proven track record of securing clients’ assets. This process brought Crosswaters to Sanctuary Wealth and BNY Mellon | Pershing – two outstanding firms whose capabilities and culture made them the right fit for us. Pershing is an industry leader in clearing and custody services and is owned by BNY Mellon, which is the longest standing operating bank in the U.S., surpassing 235 years. BNY Mellon is the largest custodian in the world by a significant margin.

My career path has uniquely prepared me for this evolution to independence, and I will focus all of my attention to helping our clients pursue their goals.
